Empowering leaders to guide others into life in the Spirit
The Holy Spirit Course is designed to be flexible, accessible, and Spirit-led. Whether you're leading a small group in your home, a midweek church gathering, or a youth discipleship group, this guide will help you create a welcoming environment where people can encounter the Holy Spirit and grow in faith.
Leaders: download the guide for ready-to-use prompts to facilitate discussion in any setting.
Before your group session, watch the video in advance and read through the session summary and scriptures. Take time to ask the Holy Spirit to guide your group discussion, and consider reading Power for Living: The Holy Spirit Course by Eric Gaudion for deeper insight.
Create a comfortable, distraction-free environment where your group can focus and feel at ease. Consider how you’ll open in prayer—inviting God’s presence, setting the tone, and helping everyone centre their hearts for the session ahead. A simple, thoughtful beginning can make all the difference.
Stream or download the session video in advance, and feel free to pause it at any point to allow time for reflection or discussion.
Use the provided questions to spark meaningful conversation, encouraging honesty, curiosity, and openness within the group. Don’t worry about having all the answers. Create space for the Holy Spirit to lead, and trust that God will speak through the discussion.
Allow time for ministry, prayer, and personal response as the session draws to a close. Create space for the Holy Spirit to move in people’s lives, bringing encouragement, healing, or conviction as needed. Trust that God is at work in the stillness as much as in the words.
You’ll gain a deeper relationship with God, greater confidence in your spiritual gifts, clarity about your calling, and boldness to live and share your faith—with a life increasingly marked by love, joy, peace, and power.
